The Calm after the storm, literally!  Michael and Brooke planned their dream wedding at their dream venue on the Gold Coast only to receive news of Cyclone Debbie’s destruction had ripped through and flooded the venue out.  A back up plan was made and another location introduced and luckily it was non other than a gorgeous private property in Austinville.  Vendors and guests contacted each other and travelled far and wide, sticking it to Debbie and not letting her get in the way of having a good time.

After flying in from Darwin the day had arrived.
The storm clouds parted, the rain stopped and the boys jumped on their boards for a surf.  The waves rolled in and set the tone for the day.  Not having seen the venue before we all committed to making the best day possible for Michael and Brooke and this is exactly how it panned out.  Under a gorgeous fig tree the pair sealed the deal and off we went on the back of a tractor for a tour around the farm.  What a beautiful venue! gorgeous trees, rolling hills, rustic sheds and roaming cattle greeted us. The rain held off and as the sun set the clouds parted and Michael and Brooke danced away underneath the storm clouds, Nothing will stop these two! if they can defeat a cyclone ruining their wedding day I’m sure they can defeat any challenge that comes their way.  Needed less to say a certain Eminem song was the topic of conversation and a hit on the dance floor at the reception (F you Debbie).

Wishing you all the best to this magical pair, you sure showed Cyclone Debbie how its done.
