Hidden away in the Byron hinterland Lauren & Matt prepared for what was meant to be their engagement party but as it turned out was their surprise wedding!!
Music flowed and guests from around the world mingled around the pool enjoying cocktails and canapés. As guests chatted in the sunshine Lauren used the opportunity to change in to her beautiful gown while Matt announced the change of plans for the evening. Guests exploded with excitement and headed over to the ancient Figtree overlooking the Byron bay to watch Matt and Lauren get married.
With 15 minutes to spare we chased the sun to capture some snaps at the overgrown railway track in Byron.
Prior to the wedding the couple handmade 1000 paper cranes. These cranes where the centrepiece of the night and represent good fortune, longevity and traditionaly is said to provide eternal good luck.
What a magical day filled with love, laughter & surprise.
Wishing Lozy and Matt all the best
